Being someone who played the original Xbox port and the BFG Edition version in four player co-op split screen, Doom is an excellent party game in a room full of friends.

I can't code at all to save my life so it would be amazing to see if someone picks this project back up seeing as the download comes with the source code, tidied it up a whole bunch, add support for 3 to 4 players, allow for all control inputs to be rebound and ported it to to GZDoom and Zandronum because something like this would be fantastic.

I've been pining for splitscreen on PC since the other source ports that support the feature refuse to work for me whatsoever but this thing somehow managed to actually launch and run decently well thus I wanted to spread the word to those who don't know of its existence. In case anyone didn't know as it's quite obscure but it's certainly a thing: ĭuring my tests, there are issues and problems with it - like a lot of problems but the fact someone has managed to get this bad boy to work at all is amazing.
